The Winter Olympics are almost upon us. Last minute preparations are in full swing here in Vancouver. Some of us are very enthused about the prospect of the winter games while many others less so. Many of us view the possbility of a heritage as having to fund a huge dept, possibly for years to come. The winter weather in the city has been extraordinarily mild so that venues close by have seen much of the snow disappear. At the ski resort of Whistler they do have snow as it is way inland in the mountains. I yend to be rather neutral about the whole thing but do welcome the possibility of meeting and offering some hospitality to gay visitors.
